LSJ Logo incertThe Muskegon Community College volleyball team lost to Lansing Community College 3-0 on Tuesday in a battle for first place in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association West Division.

The Jayhawks were defeated by set scores of 25-23, 25-18 and 25-20.

MCC is now in second place in the conference with a 9-3 record, there is two league games remaining.

Hannah Deblois and Jane Kuipers led the Jayhawks with seven kills each, while Marissa Hassevoort added 21 digs and Lindsey Jacobs had 24 assists.

The Jayhawks will host Ancilla at their home court on Thursday night.
