MCC Coach Laura Farrell knew Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart had size and expected a different offensive style.

“We started off really strong,” she said. “We knew that they had a big block up front and expected them to have a sneakier offense with tips and we picked them up well but we just got stuck in transition at times.”

Caroline Price led the Crusader effort with 11 kills and three aces while Zoie Price added nine kills and seven digs. Adeline Bonnette added 27 assists for MCC, Maddie Olsen had seven digs and Laura Doriot chipped in with three blocks.

The Crusaders finished their season with a 19-28-3 record.
