The Shelby girls basketball team grabbed an 11-point first quarter lead and went on to defeat Ravenna 60-30 Thursday in a West Michigan Conference game.
Shelby’s Jenny Beckman poured in a game-high 24 points. SaraJane Fortier added 12 points for the winners.
Jessica McWatters paced the Bulldogs with 10 points.
