Wizards 98, Pistons 86 – The Washington Wizards never trailed in Friday nights win over the Pistons.

LSJ Logo incertThe Wizards jumped out to a 29-15 lead after the first quarter, 55-40 at halftime and 83-61 after three quarters.

John Wall paced the Wizards with 22 points, while Bradley Beal added 17 and Marcin Gortat chipped in with 15.

The Pistons were led by newcomer Tobias Harris with 21 points, while Eye on the DReggie Jackson added 16 points. Andre Drummond picked up a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Pistons are now 27-28, good for ninth place in the Eastern Conference. They are one and a half games out of the final playoff spot.

Detroit will return home to host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon.
