The Orchard View girls basketball team defeated Whitehall 46-38 in a Class B district quarterfinal game on Monday night.
The Cardinals outscored Whitehall 13-4 during the second quarter to take a 21-12 lead at halftime.

The Vikings responded by outscoring Orchard View 12-9 in the third quarter to cut their deficit to six points, but Whitehall failed to complete the comeback.
Mari Brown paced the Cardinals with 17 points, while Janaya Ferrell added 15 points.
The Vikings were led by Melissa Shoup with 17 points.
The Cardinals will face Oakridge in a semifinal game at Fruitport on Wednesday.
