Scheuneman’s bat powers Kent City over Holton in baseball

Kent City took both games in a baseball doubleheader with Holton on Tuesday, 5-2 and 9-6.

Game 1 saw a pitching gem from Quinn Kooman, who threw a complete game and struck out nine batters. Luke Scheuneman led the Eagles with three hits and two RBIs while Skylour Campbell added a single and a double.

Luke O’Keefe got the win for Kent City in Game 2, throwing six innings and striking out six. Scheuneman had another good game at the plate, recording two hits and four RBIs. Kooman and Colton Atwood both contributed two hits, an RBI and two runs scored.
