The Fruitport softball team earned a berth in Saturday’s Division 2 district tournament with a 9-4 victory over Comstock Park Tuesday in a pre-district contest. 
The Trojans secured the win with three runs in the fifth inning and four in the sixth.
Brooklyn Samlow and Katie Veihl each had a pair of hits for the Trojans while Aurora Wilks knocked in three runs.
Wilks pitched five innings of the victory while Kirsten Sweet tossed two.
