The Oakridge girls soccer team advanced to the West Michigan Conference tournament finals on Monday night.
The Eagles outscored Whitehall 4-2 in a shootout in their 2-1 win in the conference semifinals.
Oakridge will face North Muskegon on Wednesday for the conference title.
Both teams exchanged a goal in the second half after a scoreless first.
Whitehall’s Hanna Evans opened the scoring 42 minutes into the game, the Eagles tied the game 1-1 late in the game on a goal by freshman Jenna Lowry.
The game went into a shootout after a goalless overtime period.
The Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the shootout by goals from Andi Cartwright and Lowry.
Camri Florez put Oakridge up 3-1 after three rounds with a shootout strike, then senior Brandy Weaver clinched the victory with the fourth Eagle shootout tally.
