Alyssa Fessenden carried the Oakridge softball team over Tri-County 9-1 in a Division 2 pre-district game on Tuesday.
Eagles’ pitcher Alyssa Fessenden tossed the win, allowing two hits while striking out 14 batters. She also added two hits and two RBIs at the plate.
Oakridge’s Alessa Buchner chipped in with one hit and three RBIs.
The Eagles will face Cedar Springs in the district semifinals at Sparta on Saturday.
