Local Sports Journal is looking for a few good part-time, freelance sports writers to add to our team for the rest of the summer and the fall high school sports season.
Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary. Living in or near Muskegon County, within easy driving distance of local events, is a definite plus.
Prerequisites are a good working knowledge of all types of sports, good writing and keyboard skills, and a willingness to learn and improve. Candidates must be available for evening work, particularly on weekdays, and also some weekends.
Compensation is on a freelance, per-story basis.
