The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team fell to Chippewa Hills 2-0 on Saturday in the finals of its invitation.
The Crusaders finished with a 2-1 record during pool play, cruising past Holland Black River and Manistee Catholic in two straight sets before losing to Hesperia in two sets.
Muskegon Catholic (6-8-1) snuck past Northern Michigan Christian in the semifinals 2-1 to advance to the finals.
Zoie Price led the Crusaders with 19 kills while Lauren Doriot added 18 kills and five blocks. Amelia Hemminger chipped in with 56 assists and Maddie Olsen had 14 aces.
MCC’s Abby Zelenka and Isabelle Bertolone had 12 digs defensively.
