The Ludington football team ended its season after falling to Alma 28-7 on Friday night in a Division 4 pre-district game.
The Orioles were down 14-0 with 38 seconds left in the second quarter when quarterback Jared Collins threw a 79-yard pass to Sam Laduke to cut the deficit to 14-7.
Alma added a three-yard touchdown from Anthony Humm in the third quarter and a 12-yard touchdown pass from Humm to Konner Vedrode in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring.
Collins led Ludington with 30 yards rushing on 16 carries, while also throwing for 214 yards on 20-of-32 passing. Laduke had 109 yards receiving on seven catches for the Orioles.
Ludington closed out the season with a 7-3 overall record.
