Detroit sports glance: Red Wings drop third straight, fall to Coyotes

Coyotes 4, Red Wings 1 – Jamie McGinn two goals paced the Arizona Coyotes over the Red Wings on Tuesday night.

Peter Holland added two assists for Arizona while Anthony DeAngelo and Lawson Crouse each had a goal.

The Red Wings are now 13-13-4 on the season, good for 30 points and a fourth-place tie in the Atlantic Division.

Andreas Athanasiou scored the lone goal for the Red Wings while Gustav Nyquist and Thomas Vanek each chipped in with an assist.

Detroit will remain home to host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night.
