Courtney Slater had a dominating night in the paint to lead the Holton girls basketball team to a 49-33 non-league victory over Kelloggsville on Monday.
Slater piled up 18 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks for the Red Devils. Shelbey Younts added 11 points and eight rebounds.
Holton led 27-22 at halftime, then turned up the defensive intensity and only allowed 11 points in the second half.
Holton is now 11-4 on the season.
