The Ludington and Montague baseball teams split a competitive non-conference doubleheader on Monday. 
Montague won the opener 2-1 before Ludington responded with a 9-7 victory in Game 2.
Dylan Stever of Montague pitched the win in Game 1, outdueling Christian Manier of Ludington.
In Game 2, Ludington took a lead it wouldn’t surrender in the bottom of the fifth when Garrett Meeker hit a three-run double. Meeker then took the mound in the sixth inning and pitched the final two innings to pick up the save.
