Jacob Sposaro hit a walk-off three-run homer in the eighth inning, giving the Muskegon Community College baseball team a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Friday in the second game of a doubleheader.

The Jayhawks trailed 2-1 through six innings before Nate Bonter singled home the tying run in the seventh. Kalamazoo Valley pulled ahead 4-2 in the top of the eighth, before Sposaro’s three-run shot finally settled the issue.

Relief pitcher Joe Huesing tossed one inning of relief and got the win for MCC.

The Jayhawks dropped the opener 7-4.

MCC led 3-2 in the sixth, but Kalamazoo Valley took control for good with four runs in the seventh.

Ryan Beadle hit a pair of home runs and three RBIs for the Jayhawks. Carson Hopman and Colin McClelland each added two hits.
