Spring Lake softball continues conference win streak with win over GR West Catholic

Spring Lake softball remained unbeaten in conference, scoring eight runs in the first inning en route to a 16-1 over Grand Rapids West Catholic in O-K Blue Conference action Thursday.

The Lakers’ Lauren Hellman led the offense with four hits and four runs, Leah Vaughan added three hits and Addison Lindsey, Kileah Rymal and Madelyn Nelson had two hits each.

Lauren Somers struck out five while allowing only three hits to pick up the win.

Spring Lake improves to 15-0 in conference and 25-2 overall.
