The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team came from behind to defeat Fife Lake in five sets on Tuesday in the Class D regional semifinals at Big Rapids Crossroads Academy.

The Crusaders won the first set 25-19, lost the next two (22-25, 16-25), stayed alive by winning the fifth set 25-22, then captured the match in a fifth-set tiebreaker, 15-10.

Zoie Price had a big night for MCC with 29 kills, as well as thee blocks on defense. Amelia Heminger had 51 assists and served six aces. Lauren Doriot and Abby Zelenka had 11 and 6 digs, respectively.

The Crusaders, now 31-14 on the season, will play Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart for the regional championship on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Crossroads Academy.
