The North Muskegon boys basketball squad held to beat Montague 58-52 on Tuesday night in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Norsemen, who is now 7-2 on the season and 6-0 in league play, led by nine points at halftime.

The Wildcats cut the deficit to one point heading into the fourth quarter but could not complete a comeback.

North Muskegon sealed the win down the stretch with strong free-throw shooting.

TJ McKenzie led the Norse with 18 points, while Deshary Warren scored 12 and Eric Rypstra added 11.

Hunter Mosher paced the Wildcats with 20 points, while Luke Marsh netted 14 and Sebastian Archer chipped in 11.
