The Whitehall boys basketball squad won another league game on Friday night, defeating Oakridge 38-33 in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Vikings, who improved to 8-1 on the season and 6-1 in league play, were led by Terrell Harris with 11 points and seven rebounds while Ethan McKenzie added nine points and eight rebounds.

TJ Ruel paced the Eagles with seven points.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 53, RAVENNA 33 – Tyler Bromley scored 22 points to lead the Spartans on Friday night. Mason County Central (7-2, 5-2) led 14-12 at the end of the first quarter and 23-19 at halftime. The second half was all Spartans, who outscored Ravenna by 16 points. Jeffery Carrier added a double-double for the Spartans with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Ravenna (4-6, 3-4) was led by Jacob May with 11 points.

NORTH MUSKEGON 67, HART 29 – The Pirates (2-8, 1-6) jumped out to a 9-2 lead and led 11-8 at the end of the first quarter, but the rest of the game was all North Muskegon. The Norse went on a 21-2 run in the second quarter to take control of the game. TJ McKenzie led North Muskegon (8-2, 7-0) with 17 points, while De’shary Warren added 15 points, seven assists and six steals. John Hayhurst chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Norse. Hart was paced by Ayden Beachum and Simon Herrera with four points each.

MONTAGUE 69, SHELBY 50 – Sebastian Archer had a team-high 18 points to lead the Wildcats to a victory. Shelby led 16-11 after the first quarter but Montague gained the lead in the second quarter and led 32-28 at the half. A 22-6 third quarter advantage for the Wildcats (5-4, 3-4) allowed them to cruise through the fourth quarter. Kenyan Johnston added 14 points for Montague, while Peyton Burton contributed with 10. The Tigers were led by Tyler Schouten with 14 points while Tristan Landis added 10.
