The Fremont boys and girls cross country teams both dominated their Hill and Bale invitational on Saturday.

The boys finished with 34 points, with second place Fruitport finishing with 65. The girls were 30 points ahead of second place, finishing with just 27 points.
Nathan Walker led the Packer boys with a first place finish. Ben Paige (6th), Connor Somers (7th), Josh Zerfas (9th) and Adam Ward (11th) rounded out the Fremont scoring.
The Packer girls placed four runners in the top six, led by Hannah Hamilton’s first place finish. Kendra Fowler took third, Leah Converse was fourth and Sammy Schmidt finished sixth. Annika Tuls rounded out the team in 13th place.
Spring Lake boys win West Ottawa Invite
 
The Laker boys finished first out of 18 teams at the West Ottawa Invitational on Saturday. The team finished with 75 points, 38 ahead of second-place Grand Haven.
Andrew and Ben Hylen led the way, finishing first and third, respectively. Matt Vanderwall, Ian Hill and Callen Carrier rounded out the team’s top five.
Reeths-Puffer beats Mona Shores
 
The Rockets topped the Sailors in both races in a dual meet on Friday. Evan Hodson won the boys race for R-P, while the Rockets’ Kendall Jones took the girls crown.
The top Sailor finishers were Nick Dennison and Mieke Hart, who each took second place in their race.
Hart wins Leanna Wolf-Geers Invitational
 
The Hart girls team dominated the Leanna Wolf-Geers Invitational on Thursday with five runners finishing in the top 10.
Adelyn Ackely won the race, Savannah Ackley came third and Lynaw Ackley took fourth. Rounding out the team was Mackenzie Stitt in seventh place, Audey Enns in eighth and Brenna Aerts in 11th.
