The Hesperia volleyball team dropped a five-set battle with Morley-Stanwood on Wednesday evening.

The Panthers lost by service scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 17-25 and 12-15.

Hesperia, which finished in a second place tie in the CSAA conference, was led by Alyssa Miller and Rachel Romero with 11 kills each.

Emily Bayle led the Panthers defensively with 18 digs while Miller had 11 on the night. Kyra Sayer chipped in with 15 assists.

The Panthers finished the regular season with a 34-16-2 overall record and a 7-3 conference record.
