The Muskegon Community College womens basketball team picked up a 58-50 road win over number eleven Mid Michigan Community College on Saturday.

The Jayhawks jumped out to a 18-8 lead after one quarter on Saturday and held a 25-22 halftime lead.

After ending the third quarter down 40-39, Muskegon outscored Mid Michigan 19-10 in the final quarter of play.

Delaney Bolles finished with 17 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Jayhawks whle Elysia Mattos added 11 points and six rebounds. Yasmine Colon finished with 10 points and six rebounds for Muskegon.

With the victory, Muskegon improves to 15-2 overall and 7-1 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. Muskegon is tied with Lake Michigan College for first place in the Western Conference standings.
