Spring Lake held a three point lead with 30 seconds remaining on Wednesday night in a heartbreaking 50-48 loss to Comstock Park.

After Comstock Park nailed a three-pointer to tie the game at 48-48, Spring Lake missed a game winning shot attempt and was called for an over the back foul on the rebound. Comstock Park hit both free throws and ultimately won the game.

Cayden Ball and Lucas Lyyski each had 11 points to lead the Lakers (4-13, 1-8) while Zach Keyser had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

NORTH MUSKEGON 58, MONTAGUE 44 – North Muskegon used a 13-6 first quarter advantage to take a lead it didn’t surrender on Wednesday night.

Jesse Cooke led North Muskegon (15-1, 10-1) with 18 points and nine rebounds while TJ McKenzie added 15 points. Montague (7-9, 4-7) was lead by Hunter Mosher with 13 points.

GRAND HAVEN 51, ROCKFORD 41 – Bryce Taylor and Owen Ross each had 12 points to lead the Buccaneers to victory.

With the win, Grand Haven improves to 10-7 overall and 5-4 in OK-Red conference play.

HART 66, WHITEHALL 63 – Hart overcame a 14-6 first quarter deficit and ultimately outscored Whitehall 8-5 in overtime to pick up the conference victory.

Dustin Klotz hit a three-pointer with four seconds remaining in overtime to give the Pirates the victory. Klotz led Hart (10-6, 6-6) with 21 points overall while Hunter Tubbs had 15 and Simon Herrera had 12. Ayden Beachum finished with 11 points for Hart.

OAKRIDGE 53, RAVENNA 44 – An 18-11 fourth quarter advantage helped Oakridge seal away the victory.

Jaxon Fri led the Eagles with 13 points while Coco Watson added 12 points. TJ Rule finished with eight points, 12 rebounds and four assists for Oakridge.
