Weekend soccer roundup: Mona Shores goes 1-1-1, Reeths-Puffer offense explodes

The Mona Shores soccer team went 1-1-1 on Saturday, tying 1-1 with Traverse City West, beating Traverse City Central 6-0 and losing 1-0 to Dewitt.

Nora Brown led the offensive attack on Saturday with four goals in the victory over Traverse City Central while Bri Wade and Riley Rosenthal also scored in the game.

In the tie with Traverse City West, Bri Wade scored the lone Sailor goal off an assist from Caitlin McCombs.

REETHS-PUFFER 7, LUDINGTON 0 – Iris Herald paced the Rockets with three goals on Saturday while Kendal Jones had two goals of her own. Also scoring for Reeths-Puffer were Emily Caltagirone and Meghan Smith with one goal each.

Isabell Olsen, Bre Woodring, McKenna Monette and Jones all had one assist in the game for Reeths-Puffer.
