Senior Emily Rosema netted a first half hat-trick in a 6-3 Western Michigan Christian victory over Manistee on Wednesday night.

Rosema scored all three of her goals in the first half while Natalie Riksen also scored a first half goal to give the Warriors a 4-1 halftime lead.

In the second half, Morgan Kinnucan and Carli Betten each had a goal, making the final score 6-3 in favor of Western Michigan Christian.

Warriors who had assists in the game were Anna Sytsema with two while Kinnucan and Sydney Betten with one each.

The Warriors are now 4-4-2 overall on the season and 4-0-1 in conference play.

FREMONT 3, LAKEVIEW 0 –  Fremont used a strong second half effort to defeat conference opponent Lakeview on Wednesday.

The Packers led 1-0 at halftime and scored two goals in the second half to extend their lead.

Avery Curnett scored the lone goal in the first half for Fremont while Kaley Wyant scored both second half goals off assists from Elly O’Neill.

Fremont outshot Lakeview 18-4 on the day while goalkeeper Audrey Johnson made all four saves.

With the win, Fremont improves to 6-3-4 overall and 3-2-1 in conference play.

LUDINGTON 4, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 0 – Four different Oriole players scored in their conference victory.

Sophia Cooney, Eleah Billings, Lindsay Lovato and Katrina Lesinski all found the back of the net for Ludington in the victory.

Orioles who picked up assists were Abby Millspaugh with two and Abi Bandstra with one.

In total, Ludington outshot Muskegon Catholic 9-0 while improving to 7-6-1 overall and 5-1 in league play.
