The Fremont football team traveled to Central Montcalm on Friday night and came away with a 33-8 CSAA conference loss.

Central Montcalm led Fremont 13-0 after one quarter before Fremont opened up the second quarter scoring with a one-yard touchdown run by Cody Andree. The two-point conversion run by Carter Dunbar was successful, making the score 13-8.

Central Montcalm scored twice in the second quarter to extend the lead to 27-8 at halftime.

The lone second half score was a Central Montcalm touchdown in the third quarter.

Cody Andree was 6-of-15 passing with 68 yards for Fremont while Tristen Marfia had 42 yards rushing on 16 carries and Adam Halasinski had 41 yards on nine carries.

Fremont is now 0-4 on the season and will travel to Newaygo next week.
