The Kent City football team shut out Lakeview 42-0 on the road in a CSAA Conference victory Friday night.

The Eagle defense held Lakeview to only 130 total yards of offense while gaining 320 yards of their own.

The Eagles led 14-0 after one quarter, 35-0 at halftime and after three quarters before scoring one final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Max Hudson paced Kent City with two touchdowns while gaining 105 rushing yards.

Jaden Williams led the Eagles defense with eight tackles and an interception while also returning a punt for a touchdown.

Kent City is now 1-0 in conference play and 3-1 overall on the season. They’ll host Morley Stanwood next week in a pivotal conference matchup.
