The Kent City football team finished the regular season with a 28-21 loss at Grant on Friday night.

After the game was tied 7-7 at the end of one quarter, Grant took a 21-7 lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, Grant extended the lead to 28-7 before Kent City scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

Max Hudson led the Eagles with 72 yards on 16 carries, while also adding 32 yards receiving. Hudson finished with two touchdowns on the night.

Eli Carlson passed for 56 yards while also scoring a rushing touchdown.

Kent City finishes the regular season with a 6-3 record and will find out its playoff opponent on Sunday night.
