The Kent City football team clinched a playoff spot for the fourth year in a row after defeating Calvin Christian 62-12 on Friday night.

The Eagles dominated on offense and defense, rushing for 459 yards while limiting Calvin Christian to only 112 yards of total offense.

The first quarter was all the Eagles needed to put the game out of sight, racing out to a 35-0 advantage before taking a 48-6 halftime lead.

Kent City added another touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters.

The Eagles were led offensively by Dolan Baer, who had four rushing touchdowns.

Max Hudson led Kent City on the defensive side of the ball with five tackles and an interception that was returned for a touchdown.

Kent City improved to 6-2 overall with the victory. The Eagles will close out the regular season on the road against Grant next Friday.
