Mona Shores takes home OK-Black Conference boys tennis title

The Mona Shores tennis team took home the OK-Black Conference title on Saturday, just outpacing second place Jenison.

Conference flight champions for the Sailors were Kayden Hellman (No.2 singles), Grant Hylland (No.3 singles), Gavin Kuhn (No.4 singles), Chris Horvath and Austin Grimm (No.1 doubles) and the team of Lydia Sowles and Brady Whalen (No.3 doubles).

Overall, the Sailors finished with conference season with 45 points while Jenison was second with 43. Reeths-Puffer finished with 29 points, followed by Grand Rapids Union with 24 points, Fruitport with 16 points and Kenowa Hills with 11 points.
