Over the past weekend, several Muskegon area high school teams and individuals competed in Michigan High School Athletic Association girls golf state championship tournaments at various locations.

The highest finishing local team was Montague, which finished fourth overall in Division 4. Logan Potts of Mona Shores was the only top 10 individual from the area. She shot a 164 and finished eighth overall in Division 2.

Other area teams that qualified for the state finals were Mona Shores, which finished 13th in Division 2 with a score of 765, and Whitehall, which finished 11th in Division 3 with a score of 773.

The following is a list of individual scores for all the local golfers who competed at state.
