Ke’ontae Barnes and his Orchard View teammates proved to be too much for the Muskegon Heights Tigers on Friday.
Barnes, a junior, totaled 24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals in the Cardinals’ 62-48 victory over the Tigers in a Lakes 8 Conference matchup.
OV gained its advantage by outscoring Muskegon Heights 18-11 in the first quarter and 20-10 in the third.
Edmari Mitchell (14 points), Larry Brewer III (11 points, 14 rebounds) and Donovan Daniels (10 rebounds) also had big games for Orchard View.
The Cardinals are now 3-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
