The Fruitport boys and girls bowling teams each took part in the OK-Black pre conference tournament on Saturday.

The Trojans boys team finished second while the girls finished in third place.

Evan Simonis paced the boys with a 547 series including a game high of 202. Jray Conklin finished with a series score of 537 including a game of 210 while Jon Wildey had a game of 209.

The girls were paced by Jessica Plichta with a 537 series including a 201 game.

Kennadi Dykstra bowled a 477 series and a high game of 203 for Fruitport.

LUDINGON BOYS TAKE SECOND AT ALLENDALE – The Ludington boys had a strong Saturday, finishing runner-up in the Allendale tournament, falling to Unity Christian in the finals.

Max Kline led the Orioles with high gams of 207 and 188 while Luke Kolb totaled 177.

Colin Nash totaled 181 while Will Shinn bowled 156 and Jonas VandenHeuvel bowled 116.

LUDINGTON GIRLS FALL IN ALLENDALE SEMIS – The Ludington girls bowling team fell to Unity Christian in the semifinals of the Allendale tournament.

Saige Phelps bowled a 129 to lead the Orioles while Amelia Larson bowled 127.

Rachel Faust totaled a score of 126 while Brianna Wysong scored 137.
