The Muskegon boys basketball team remained undefeated in O-K Black Conference play with a 69-50 victory over Fruitport on Tuesday.
The Big Reds took a 35-20 lead into the half, outscoring Fruitport 21-12 and 14-8 through the first two quarters. The second half was much tighter, with Muskegon only outscoring the Trojans 34-30.
Jarvis Walker led Muskegon with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds. Vern Nash led the 10 other scorers for the Big Reds with nine points.
For the Trojans, Gavin Fisher had 16 points and six rebounds and Marcelo Conklin put up 13 points and four rebounds.
Muskegon improved to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference, while Fruitport dropped to 4-5 and 2-3.
