Big Reds boys basketball squad ends regular season with four-point win over Kalamazoo Central

The Big Reds boys basketball team ended the regular season with a close 49-45 victory over Kalamazoo Central on Thursday in non-league action.

Nash Vern paced Muskegon with 16 points while Lamar Lee added 12.

The Big Reds led 10-7 after the first quarter, 24-15 at halftime and 33-28 heading into the final stanza.

Muskegon heads into district play with an 18-2 overall record and was 12-0 in league play.
