The Fruitport Calvary Christian boys soccer team took home the Phoenix Cup on Saturday with victories over Liberties Christian and Kalamazoo Heritage Christian.

In the semifinal, the Eagles defeated Liberties Christian 4-1 with goals from Ben Pollock, Luke Assaad, Tyler Brown and Ethan Pollock.

In the championship game, the two teams were scoreless and regulation before deciding the game via penalty kicks.

Ethan Pollock, Ben Pollock, Zach Hazekamp and Assaad all made their penalty shots to give Calvary a 4-2 victory.

Keeper Braden Cohea picked up the win in net, helping Fruitport Calvary improve to 3-0 overall.
