Montague rushed for eight touchdowns on the night on its way to a dominating 75-0 win over Hart in a Division 6 first round playoff game Friday night.

The Wildcats scored six first quarter touchdowns — a 44-yard run by Drew Collins, a 40-yard pass from Collins to Andrew Kooi, 8- and 20-yard runs from Dylan Everett, a 7-yard pass from Collins to Sam Smith, and a 21-yard run by Zach Nelson. The team also added a safety and led 44-0 after one.

Kooi added a 35-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, while Reece Taylor had a 47-yard touchdown reception from Kooi to make the score 57-0 going into halftime.

Zach Nelson scored the lone touchdown of the third quarter on a 2-yard run.

Adam Baird had a 14-yard rushing touchdown while Chase Gowell added a 5-yard rushing touchdown to end the scoring for the Wildcats giving them the lead of 75-0.

Baird led the Wildcats with 63 yards rushing, followed by Everett with 48. Collins passed for 89 yards and rushed for 34. Kooi had 98 yards passing and 35 yards rushing. 

Defensively, Gowell, Smith, Izac Jarka and Tugg Nichols all added an interception on the night. Three different players had four tackles apiece while Colton Blankstrom, Walker Martin, and Hayden McDonald all added a tackle for a loss.
