The Mona Shores Sailors and Grand Haven Buccaneers met up last Friday for a football matchup that hadn’t happened since 2013 when the Sailors won 42-35.
The game was brought together after both Grand Haven and Mona Shores’ Week 4 opponents cancelled due to COVID-19.
Friday’s matchup saw the Sailors win 36-15 and renewed a competition that many enjoyed. One person who was entertained by the game from the side lines was LSJ photographer Dr. Michael Banka.
