The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team defeated Baldwin in three-straight sets on Wednesday to advance to Division 4 district title game.

The Crusaders won by scores of 25-15, 25-12 and 25-18.

Erin Lavigne led the MCC charge with 12 kills, while Maria Modaff had eight and Alena Martin contributed with seven. Claire LaVigne chipped in with 34 assists.

The Crusaders were paced defensively by Emma Maierhauser with five digs while Erin LaVigne recorded three. Modaff also had four blocks for MCC.

MCC is now 16-8 on the season and will face Fruitport Calvary in the district finals on Friday.
