The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team cruised to a three-set win over Saugatuck in Division 3 district semifinals on Wednesday.

The Warriors won by service scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-14.

Kyla Wiersema led WMC with 14 kills, while Taylor Folkema also had nine kills along with three aces and Madison Wiersema had three kills. Kendal Young set up 33 assists.

The Warriors were paced defensively by Kyla Wiersema with 12 digs, while Young had nine and Haley Breuker chipped in with eight.

Madison Wiersema recorded five blocks for WMC and both Leffring and Libby Mast had another three.

WMC is now 25-11 on the season and will face North Muskegon on Thursday for a district championship.
