Muskegon moved to 4-0 in conference play with a lopsided win over Wyoming Thursday night. The Big Reds dominated the first and fourth quarters on their way to an 87-52 win.

Muskegon took a commanding 27-12 lead after the first quarter, stretched the lead to 47-28 at the half and led 67-44 after three. A 20-8 edge in the fourth helped the Big Reds pull away.

Ethan Hill led the attack with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jordan Briggs chipped in 16 points and Kalil Stimage added 14 and four assists. 

REETHS-PUFFER 54, ZEELAND WEST 50 — The Rockets rode a strong first half to their fourth win of the season Thursday night.

Reeths-Puffer led 11-3 after one quarter, 25-17 at the half and 43-40 heading into the fourth.

Kendall Smith notched his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead R-P. Kaleb Mitchelson added 12 points and six assists, while Jaxson Whitaker scored nine and Logan Brooks totaled eight. 

Reeths-Puffer is now 4-1 on the season and 3-1 in O-K Green play. 

ZEELAND EAST 68, MONA SHORES 40 — A tough second quarter doomed the Sailors in a conference loss Thursday. Mona Shores trailed just 15-13 after one, but was outscored 20-2 in the second quarter to trail 35-15 at the break. 

The Chix won the third quarter 19-6 before the Sailors pulled closer with a 19-14 edge in the fourth.

Ethan Krueger led the Sailors with 11 points, while Parker Swartz added seven. Mona Shores is now 1-4 on the season and overall.
