The Grand Haven softball team had a strong offensive day on Monday, defeating Reeths-Puffer 11-0 and 16-1.

Hannah Bowen earned the win for he Buccaneers in Game 1, allowing just three hits while also striking out five.

Hannah Aldred led the Grand Haven offense in Game 1 with two hits and three RBIs while Skylar Covelli had one hit and two RBIs. Sami Franz had a two run home run.

Aldred pitched three innings in Game 2, allowing one run and one hit while striking out four.

Kendall Pahl led the offense with two hits and four RBIs while Aldred, Veda Vargas, Gianna Romanelli and Michayla Chuciuk each had two RBIs.

RAVENNA 10-13, NEWAYGO 0-10 – The Ravenna offense was strong on Monday night in a doubleheader sweep.

Maddie Kilbourne led the Bulldogs with two hits including a home run while Kara Postema, Kendra Denhof, Laney Mabrito and Ellie Solem all had two hits in Game 1.

Emma Gillard picked up the win in Game 1, allowing four hits and striking out 10.

In Game 2, Alexis McMahon had three hits including a home run while Gillard added three hits of her own. Mabrito had three hits including a double.

PENTWATER 15-15, MASON COUNTY EASTERN 0-1 – The Falcons picked up two victories via mercy on Monday.

In Game 1, Mikaylyn Kenney earned the win, striking out eight and allowing no hits over four innings.

Kenney also led the offense with two hits and four RBIs while Crysta Cluchey added two hits and three RBIs. Mackenna Hasil added three hits and one RBI.

In Game 2, Kenney struck out 18 and allowed one hit over six innings while also totaling three hits and two RBIs of her own.

The Falcons are now 6-0 on the season.
