The 2021 LocalSportsJournal.com High School Football Preview is heating up as the 2021 season quickly approaches.

Readers will get the inside scoop on 24 Muskegon area high school football teams in this year’s edition.

Former local high school star and Muskegon Big Red great, Cameron Martinez, is also anticipating his season at Ohio State University.

Michigan’s 2019 Mr. Football is slated to play a big role in the OSU secondary in 2021.

Martinez is a sophomore,  majoring in psychology in Columbus. In the 2020 season, Martinez played in one game against Indiana and ultimately red-shirted as a true freshman and earned OSU Scholar Athlete status in 2020-21.
