Grand Haven football falls on road to Traverse City West

The Grand Haven football team traveled to Traverse City West High School on Friday for a mid-afternoon matchup and fell 33-7.

The Bucs offense managed just 137 total yards to TC West’s 320. 

Grand Haven fell behind early, trailing 20-0 after the first quarter. The Bucs held the Titans scoreless through the next two quarters, but could’t stop them in the fourth.

Gaven Strong scored the lone touchdown for Grand Haven, breaking free for a 56-yard scoring run. Strong finished with 76 yards on four carries and also had 10 tackles on defense.

Jaxon Franz led Grand Haven on defense with 16 tackles while Broken Hall had six.
