The Mona Shores Sailors continued their tear through the O-K Green Conference with a 49-30 victory over Zeeland East on Friday.

Despite a scoreless first quarter, the Sailors (4-1, 3-0 O-K Green) found their groove and didn’t look back.

Quarterback Mark Konecny led the way for the Sailors, throwing 11 for 13 for 122 yards and rushing 13 times for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

The Sailors established their run game, led by Dahmir Farnum’s 143 yards and three touchdowns, including a 50-yarder.

Kewan Farnum added 40 yards with a touchdown and Elijah Johnson went for 59 yards and a touchdown.

Leading the defense for the Sailors was Jaylen Vinton with seven tackles and an interception, David Fredrick made six tackles and Steve Koziak had five tackles with two sacks.
