Western Michigan Christian volleyball hosted Covenant Christian on Friday in its annual Warrior Weekend.

The Warriors walked away with the victory in three games off set scores of 25-19, 25-12 and 25-15.

Kyla Wiersema led the way making 12 kills, three blocks and one ace for WMC (24-2).

Maddie Wiersema had 15 digs, six kills and made three blocks. Libby Mast had six kills, Haley Breuker made ten digs, Hanna Heiss got nine digs, Kendal Young made 27 assists and Ashley Binnendyk scored an ace.

The No. 1 Warriors (D3) are now 24-2, and warm up in the Lakes 8 Conference with a matchup against Muskegon Catholic on Tuesday. 

Both teams enter undefeated in conference play as WMC is currently 2-0.

WMC and Whitehall were the lone area teams to get named in the MiVCA rankings on September 20. The Vikings made honorable mention in Division 2.
