The Greater Muskegon Athletic Association cross country meet is set for Saturday at Oak Ridge Golf Course, located at 513 W. Pontaluna Road in Norton Shores.

Reeths-Puffer comes as the defending champions in both the boys and girls races. The boys bring a five-meet winning streak into the event.

In the girls’ race, Western Michigan Christian’s Abby Vanderkooi, now a senior, will be looking to win the individual title for the fourth straight year.

A total of 13 Muskegon County schools are scheduled to participate in the event, which includes middle school and high school races.

The middle school girls will kick off the day at 9:30 a.m., followed by the middle school boys at about 10 a.m.

The varsity girls will hit the course at about 10:30 a.m., followed by the boys at about 11:15 a.m.
