The Greater Muskegon co-op swim team cruised past the Ludington Orioles on Thursday.

The Turtles won nine of the 12 events for a 109-76 points advantage.

Caroline Carlson posted wins in the 200 IM, 500 Free, 200 Medley. Robyn Hunt won in the 200 Free, 100 Fly.

Also posting first place finishes for the Turtles were Sydney Systema in the 100 Back, Naomi Huttenga in the 100 Free and Katie Cree in diving.

The relay team of Carlson, Hunt, Naomi Huttenga, and Sydney Sytsema finished first in the 200 Medley Relay while Carlson, Hunt, Eliza Piper, and Sydney Sytsema posted first in the 400 Free Relay.

“It was nice to see our Turtles swim in other events and be very successful,” said Coach Mick Homan. “Great to see the team feel happy and excited after a big win.”

The Turtles rise to 4-4 for the season and 2-2 in the O-K Rainbow Tier 1.
