Finding success on the lanes in the young season, the Fremont boy’s bowling team went 2-0 on Monday in their dual match against Tri-County and Central Montcalm.

The Packers were set to face the Vikings in the opening match of the day but instead saw a forfeit earning the team 30 points on their first match.

In the latter half of their dual-meet, Fremont dominated Central Montcalm with a strong 29-1 victory With Trent Koomen leading the way recording a new high game of 207.

Also in the second match for the Packers, Gabe Vanvleet bowled 182 and Andrew Lyon got 170.

In both matches, despite performing well individually, the Packers struggled in their Baker Games giving the team a new focus on what needs to be worked on.

Fremont will take on the Holton Red Devils on Wednesday at Northway Lanes starting at 3:30 p.m.
